About ChartKid
ChartKid is a small, free website that makes printable charts for children: chore charts, reward charts, behaviour and potty-training charts, routines, and spelling worksheets. It was built by a parent of three.
Why it exists
Every chore chart I found online was almost right. The chores were somebody else's, the name was blank or wrong, the theme was for a different child, and the file was a JPEG that printed blurry. I'd end up drawing one on paper with a ruler, which my daughters liked more anyway because it had their names on it.
ChartKid is that hand-drawn chart, done properly. You type the chores, pick the pictures and the theme, add a name, and it prints sharp on whatever paper is in your printer. It takes about a minute, and it costs nothing.
What it doesn't do
It doesn't ask you to sign up. It doesn't collect your child's name; the chart is drawn on your own device and nothing you type is sent anywhere. It doesn't put adverts on the charts themselves. And it doesn't try to sell you a subscription: every chart and worksheet is free, for home and for classrooms.
How it stays free
Some pages carry clearly marked adverts, and a few link to products or pocket-money apps that pay a small commission if you use them. That covers the hosting and the time. Our affiliate disclosure has the detail.
The star
The ChartKid star is the mascot on every page and the small logo in the corner of every chart. The artwork, stickers and corner frames were made for ChartKid and belong to it, so a chart with the star on it is one you made here.
Suggestions welcome
If a chore list is missing something, a theme is wrong for your child, or there's a chart you wish existed, send a note. Most of the charts on the site came from a parent or a teacher asking for them.
