Affiliate disclosure
Last updated 18 October 2026
ChartKid is free to use and always will be. To cover the cost of running it, some pages include affiliate links and some carry advertising. This page explains how that works so you can decide for yourself.
Affiliate links
An affiliate link is an ordinary link to another company's website with a code that tells them you came from ChartKid. If you sign up or buy something there, ChartKid may receive a commission. You pay the same price either way; the commission comes from the company, not from you.
Links of this kind on ChartKid are marked as affiliate links next to the link or box, and in the page's code. At the moment they may include:
- Pocket-money and chore apps such as Greenlight and GoHenry, shown on chore and reward chart pages as a way to pay allowance for finished chores.
- Amazon. ChartKid is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program and the Amazon EU Associates Programme, affiliate advertising programmes designed to provide a means for sites to earn fees by linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites. As an Amazon Associate, ChartKid earns from qualifying purchases.
How we choose what to link to
We only link to products and services we think are a reasonable fit for families using a chore or reward chart. A commission never changes what a guide says: the advice on each page is written first, and the links are added where they fit. If a product stops being worth recommending, the link comes off.
Advertising
Advertisements appear only in clearly marked spaces between the chart maker and the guide, never on the chart itself or in a PDF. Advertisers do not influence the content of the site.
Nothing is required
You never need to click an affiliate link or an advert to make, download or print a chart. Every feature on ChartKid works exactly the same whether you do or not.
